RHS Level 2 Theory Certificate Courses

Students interested in entering the horticulture industry can start the RHS  Level 2 Certificate without any previous industry experience. This level is also geared towards those working in industry and who want to formalise their skills, by obtaining a professional qualification or simply looking to broaden their skills.

After completing the Level 2 (Theory) Certificate, you may move on to the RHS Level 3 (Theory) Certificate. 

Once the Theory Levels 2 & 3 are completed you have the option to complete the Levels 2 & 3 Practical Certificates.  These must be completed at an RHS approved school which offers practical hands on experience in a face-to-face setting,

These RHS qualifications are highly valued and desired by employers. The Level 3 award is tailored to meet the needs of students who wish to specialise in a particular area,  advancing their horticulture knowledge within the horticulture industry.

Pre-requisites: there are no pre-requisites for Level 2. The RHS requires that you start with Unit 1 and then proceed to Unit 2, in that order. 180 TQT hours – (Total Qualification Time includes the 120 Guided Learning Hours).
