( Lukas, 10/11/2016 ) Q:

Is this aquarium course accredited? If yes could you state by who?

( 10/11/2016 ) A:

Thank you for your question.

The course is not accredited, but that is not always a necessity for recognition. Many employers today are more interested in what the course has taught and will test the value of a qualification, against what they are looking for in an employee.

That said, because there are so many companies offering distance learning courses, it is difficult for potential students, employers and universities, to separate the good schools from the bad ones. Therefore, we have had the levels of our courses independently assessed, meaning that the level 4 qualification value that Aquarium Management carries, has not been set by us, but by a separate awarding organisation, thus adding value to your qualification. This organisation has bench-marked the Aquarium Management course against the FHEQ (Framework for Higher Education Qualifications) and the EQF (European Qualifications Framework). This bench-marking to the UK and European Frameworks, allows all interested parties to measure the complexity and value of the learning material.

We are also a recognised centre for TQUK - Training Qualifications UK, an Ofqual Approved Awarding Organisation. Again, this aids recognition of the qualification you will receive, because in order to maintain our Recognised Centre status, ADL is subject to yearly EV visits to ensure that we conform to, and are meeting the high standards demanded by TQUK.

Employers and Universities like our courses, because they are written and regularly updated by industry relevant professionals, plus delivered with excellent support from suitably qualified tutors. They teach you what you need to know to look attractive to employers at job interviews. It's as simple as this. If you have the knowledge and skills an employer is looking for, you have a better chance of being offered a job.

I would like to invite you to visit our Testimonials page, where you can read what previous students have been able to do with their qualifications from us. Some have successfully used our courses to secure the career they wanted to pursue and others have used them to get into university. Here is the link:
