Creating Herb Gardens

Herb Gardens Foundation Course

This is an IEAC Accredited Course to help you learn and understand how to create Herb Gardens.

Herb gardening is one of the most accessible, rewarding, and versatile forms of horticulture. Whether you’re an aspiring gardener, a culinary enthusiast, or someone simply drawn to the beauty and practicality of growing your own plants, this comprehensive foundation course provides everything you need to design, plant, and maintain a flourishing herb garden from the ground up.

You will learn to identify and grow both culinary and medicinal herbs, understand soil essentials, master propagation techniques, and create seasonal maintenance routines for year-round harvests. With an emphasis on practical, nature-friendly gardening, the course also explores companion planting, organic pest control, and harvesting methods that maximise flavour and potency.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills and confidence to design your own herb garden, select the right plants for your climate, and incorporate home-grown herbs into everyday life; whether for cooking, natural remedies, crafting, or simply enjoying a more sustainable lifestyle.

There is a final assessment that can be undertaken at any time, day or night; and you will be awarded a coveted: IEAC (International Education Accreditation Council) Certificate, which will have your name on it, including full course details.
