ADL students studying a course approved by the Complimentary Medical Association can benefit from great savings on a ticket to the associations flagship event camexpo. Held in London, UK on the 4th and 5th of October, camexpo is the main British annual event for members of the industry, attended by practitioners, students and businesses alike for the sharing of new developments and ideas in complementary medicine. Representatives from the differing industries that make use of complementary medicine will be in attendance, from Chiropractors and Beauty salons, to fitness clubs, herbalists and supermarkets.
Established in 1995, the Complimentary Medical Association or CMA was founded to educate the public about complimentary medicine. At the time, with no professional representation behind it, many practitioners struggled to gain acceptance as anything other than a cottage industry. Based on a network of qualified healthcare professionals, the CMA works to educate and assist member practitioners from around the world. A global organisation, it is also the professional body that approves several of ADL’s complimentary medical courses including medicinal herbs and therapeutic nutrition.
Thousands of groups and companies will be in attendance, providing the student with an invaluable opportunity to explore the professional possibilities of a career in complimentary medicine in depth. As an attendee you'll have the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars that will give your studies a tremendous boost. You'll also have a chance to ask questions of professionals and experts and even make valuable contacts for when it becomes time to take your studies into the workplace.
Students studying with ADL courses accredited by the CMA are eligible for great reductions in the door price and can attend the event for only £5, a saving of 75% on the regular door price. To take advantage of this offer, interested students need to contact the CMA’s, Roberta MacMillan at [email protected]. Student will need to provide some information to the CMA including their name, address, e-mail address and the course and institution they’re studying at (which of course, will be ADL!)
